The vast, rural expanse of Ammando boasts bountiful harvests through most of the year with coastal lowlands giving way to gentle rolling hills further inland, rarely exposed to drastic temperature changes. Nestled between two major cities, the roads of Ammando are seldom empty with several thriving villages branching from the main throughway.
The sprawling vineyards and fields of wheat are the lifeblood of the region and the lavish estates of the nobility are a testament to it’s wealth. Famed for an assortments of fine wines and pale ales the regional taverns and inns are frequently filled with an array of patrons. The full splendor of these bountiful fields are best seen in autumn. As the vibrant greens transform into a sea of oranges and yellows and the bushels seem to overflow.
Along the coast can be found prosperous fishing communities, reaping the benefits of the Cobalt Coast and a small stretch of the Channel of Gelene. A small bay created by the duel peninsulas offers a safe resting place for the larger trading vessels during time of bad weather, of which are few and far between.
