Dyomoque is a city nestled in the mountains of Gaxano and Ippetimbal, overlooking the vast plains of Weghie and Tindle. The people are keen at manufacturing the finest jewelry and gadgets of all types and uses. Dyomoque was once the small sister to the glorious old capital of Wudenkin until the Daimon invasions where it soon found itself the new capital after the fall of Wundekin. Where once was a sleepy border city with farmers and traders has now become the bastion of the Republic of Fronen. Its walls are high and of white stone brought down from the surrounding mountains, towers stretch to the sky within the walls and allow an excellent view of the plains that swirl around it in all directions. The people of Dyomoque once where peasants removed from the daily dealings of war and empire now find themselves at the frontier of the New Republic, they have become rich, cultured and perhaps a bit aloof.
The city is home of the republican Doge, the palace is discreet, more of a humble office than anything a king would live in. The city is filled with a morass of bureaucrats and paper pushers, little political offices that work slowly on the policies of a sometimes what is considered a slow and slug like process of referendums and Senate arguments, there is little glamour, the city from the outside is beautiful but inside it is tight winding streets and office upon office of stamps and seals, laws and books upon books of republican etiquette and rushing senators.
The city is home to the Ambassadors sector, a great blue building of Nothoi architecture is here, it is perhaps the most remarkable building in the area. It houses the federated democratic Nothoin envoys.
