Gaxano

Description

The region of Gaxano lies on the southern tip of the large mountain range that dominates central Beluaterra. Its mountains are rich in Iron and silver. Which is sold to the nearby city of  Dynomoque. It is a great place for farming but also a great place for mining. It is said that Gaxanos Largest Mountain "Askr".  At one point was a volcano that had caused a great darkness that caused starvation and famine across the continent and made the sky black an the air hard to breath. And who knows when it will happen again....

The region is also Made up of plains to the south, bordering the city of Dyomoque. Here is the main farming region. The several smaller rivers going every once in a while, flood over bring fertile soil for farming. But because of the mountains air flows into them causing more clouds to form thus making large floods occur often, sometimes over 5 feet! In response to this the residence made shelters on what hills they had in case of a flood. The eastern part lacks proper defenses, and the occupants prefer to retreat to the mountains to hide.  

To the South-east you can find a Central river, that branches into several smaller rivers in the eastern part toward Dyomoque here is where water from the mountains flow into this river sometimes causing flooding. Most here do not do farming but instead mining, building, fishing, and trade this is also home to Fort Yavin. Fort Yavin is situated near the entrance of the residences mining center up the mountain. In case of a flood the people have outposts warning them to retreat to the western region

Finally the smaller mountains to the west. The area is not good for farming as the rough terrain and large amounts of rock in the soil. Most there do logging, fishing and hunting in that region, and sell it to the central villagers. Its hills naturally protect them from flooding so they can instead focus on other projects
