Yipinalke is a bustling inland trade region that primarily earns income from the road that circles Lake Salaman. Other sources of gold stem from the lake itself as fish and salt are highly sought products in the northern expanse. The Fell Crossing bridge that connects Yipinalke with neighboring town Jyl is also a boon for the region's economy. The passage rights and tolls from crossing the bridge for both merchants and armies has been a lucrative activity for years.
Yipinalke's geographical position allows the locals to boast the town as regional crossroads. From here, one can quickly reach many important northern cities - Vozzessdor and Ossmat in the northwest and Vore and Unger in the northeast. The Fell Crossing bridge between Jyl and Yipinalke acts as an impervious strategic point as it represent the best crossing of the Great Northern River that ends in the distant Mouth of Agyr for miles on end.
Apart from the Fell Crossing bridge in the southern parts of the region and the sharp eerie mountain tops in the north, another point of interest is the now-sunken city of Vur Hagin. Vur Hagin's tall towers now scarcely reach out from the depths of Lake Salaman, forever warning the locals that doom is always nearby and teaching them lessons of humility. The sunken towers symbolize the fallen civilization that angered the gods as Vur Hagin sinks deeper and deeper by each passing day.
