In the middle of the thick, old forest, at the end of the busy, wide road, rises the battered, yet magnificent walls of Keffa. Numerous spires seem to reach for the clouds and sturdy archers endlessly patrol the fortifications. Once a small city dependent on agriculture and hunting, Keffa now prospers the way it never has before, and is recognized as one of the most important trading centres of the continent.
Despite a history steeped in war and conquest, Keffa boasts a strong reputation for the work of her masons with many artisans stores creating the many architectural features of the city. Her principle trade continues to be cloth and scents once giving Keffa the reputation of being the 'den of whores and peddlers'. Such a reputation led to countless damnations and attempts at conquest of a city perceived as the easiest of cherries to pluck. Now though the red rise on the Oaken gates show the city is no easy conquest and the 'den of whores' have both teeth and claws.
