The region of Mulhouse is one of the most important trade and production hubs in the south of the continent, being one of the main suppliers for the cities of Perdan to the north and Partora to the west. Perfectly positioned, it is encircled by rich natural resources and has easy access to major trade routes.
The citizens make the best of the rich forests of Meuse to the east for wood and hunting. There are many hunting camps along the edge of the forest, and a few mills using the river runoff from the Eldoret mountains to the south to produce pristine timber to the surrounding regions. The mountains also provide valuable gold and gems from it's many rivers, a favorite for commercial and armature prospectors that favor the pans rather than the mines to get rich.
The lands are beautiful and prosperous, with many farms a fields across the region. The unique location offers a peaceful location for any business to flourish in one of its towns, offering a breathtaking view of the mountains and forests and easy access to all the main roads for traders who wish to stay and set up shop or travel with their wares.
The ease of acquiring materials allows the smiths and fletchers to offer weapons and armor of the highest quality, but cobblers, carpenters and masons also thrive.
The rich fields produce wheat and barley for the it's brewers like the famous Jensen Family Brewery, and many grapes vines and apples orchards supply the vineyards.
Ever since being almost decimated by war, the region has proven to be resilient and capable of rebuilding itself back to glory every time. With the citizens hard work ethics and strong religious influence, Mulhouse has always attracted the most skilled and passionate workers, building a sense of community, and a home for many guilds. A favorite for nobles and adventurers alike.
