More productive and profitable than most rural regions can ever expect to be, the vast flatland of Bruck lies south of the swamps of Gadlock and is conveniently placed between the cities of Westmoor and Oligarch, which explains its relatively high population and local goods production. Farms and fields cover every arable inch of the landscape, and several families of artisans manufacture surprisingly high quality products for a reasonable price that are later sold to the surrounding and less wealthy rural and badland regions.
The local lord manor is located near the center of the region, where a few decent roads join to connect Bruck to its surrounding regions, especially Greatbridge and its well known hub of trading activity, which makes the procurement of its local fruit, the duran, feasible enough to see it from time to time on the properly stocked tables of the region.
The closeness of the cities of Westmoor and Oligarch makes the local people more willing to accept outsiders than usual, and many of them can be regularly seen travelling to the cities to trade their goods or enjoy the more sophisticated (and expensive) luxuries of the urban life.
